Most people are taught about the 5 senses. But guess what? You actually have 8 senses! At SkyClimb Sensory Development Center, our goal is to help everyone "feel" all of their senses. Many times, these senses are diminished or amplified in those with Sensory Processing Disorder.

VESTIBULAR
Responsible for detecting movement through space and head position
PROPRIOCEPTION
Internal gauge telling use where our body is in space and how much force to use
OLFACTORY
Processes smell, allowing us to discriminate between odors
GUSTATORY
Senses taste that allows us to discern between safe & harmful foods
INTEROCEPTION
Detects internal regulation responses such as hunger and heart rate
